For a church that’s like Jesus - inclusive, empowering, and socially radical

Saturday 28th November – Tooting URC – near Tooting Broadway tube

Run by A2ndVoice, a local autism charity

For: church leaders, church members, Autistic Christians, Christian family member carers, and Christian autism professionals

Book early to avoid disappointment - http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/autism-in-the-church-conference-for-churches-in-south-london-tickets-19109982472?aff=ebrowse – or call Caroline on 020 8265 8409

The conference has been put together by two friends, Venessa Bobb, CEO of the local parent-lead autism voluntary group, ‘A Second Voice’, and Caroline Henthorne who is researching autism and disability theology. Venessa has an autistic son, and Caroline is autistic herself. They have been raising awareness of autism in South London’s churches, and Venessa has particular experience of raising awareness in black majority churches.

The conference is open to all: autistic people, family-member carers, autism professionals who are Christians, church leaders, and church members. The conference will be a relaxed event which welcomes socially atypical people.
